Field-by-field meaning

aiOverviewDetected — heuristics on the HTML Google returned (labels, containers, data attributes). False means this snapshot had no detectable overview module, not that Google will never show one.

citedUrls — external hostnames extracted from links inside the detected block; google.com and other Google hosts are stripped. Empty with detected=true usually means links were not parseable from the HTML you got back.

isCited — only meaningful when you supplied a URL and the run is not inconclusive. Compares your hostname (www ignored) and subdomains to cited hosts. It does not require the same path.

inconclusive — treat as “no SERP data,” not as “no overview.” Retry later; do not publish reports based on blocked fetches.

How to read each badge state

Detected with citations — use citedUrls to see who won this snapshot. If your domain is missing, compare content format and depth on those URLs for the same query.

Detected without citations — weak signal; open the query manually in a private window to confirm whether links exist in the live UI.

Not found — common on brand, navigational, and many transactional queries. Informational “what is / how to” queries show overviews more often.

Inconclusive — rate limits, consent interstitials, or bot checks. Waiting a few minutes before retry is the only in-tool fix.
