Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of scrawl.tools and the free SEO tools provided here. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. Effective date: May 29, 2026.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using scrawl.tools (the “Site”) or any tool offered on it (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site or the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time — continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Scrawl provides a free, browser-based suite of SEO tools — including but not limited to bulk redirect checkers, broken link finders, sitemap validators, schema checkers, Core Web Vitals testers, and on-page auditing tools. No account registration or login is required to use any tool. The Service is provided free of charge and is funded by non-intrusive advertising through Google AdSense.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Results produced by the tools are informational only and are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, or current. See also our Disclaimer.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for any lawful purpose related to websites you own or are authorized to audit. You may not:

  • Use the tools to overload, attack, or disrupt third-party websites or servers — the tools are designed for analysis, not load testing.
  • Scrape or programmatically access the Site itself in a way that places excessive load on our servers or bypasses rate limiting.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Submit illegal, malicious, or infringing content through any tool input field.
  • Use the Service to violate another party's intellectual property rights, privacy, or other legal rights.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to submit tool requests at volumes that impair service availability for other users.

We reserve the right to block access from any IP address or user agent that violates these restrictions or places unreasonable load on the Service.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) results produced by any tool will be complete, accurate, or reliable; (c) any defects in the Service will be corrected; or (d) the Service or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. Tool results are informational only and should not be treated as a guarantee of search engine performance, indexability, or ranking outcomes.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scrawl and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Because the Service is free, this limit will in most cases be USD 100.

6. Third-party services

Some tools use third-party APIs to return results — for example, the Google PageSpeed Insights API for Core Web Vitals data, and the Google Search Console API for index checks. Your use of features powered by these services is subject to the applicable third party's own terms and privacy policies.

The Site displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Your interaction with any advertisement is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy, not by these Terms. We do not endorse any product or service advertised on the Site.

7. Intellectual property

The Site — including all text, code, graphics, logos, tool designs, and software — is owned by Scrawl or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Site for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

Content you submit to a tool (URLs, files, text) remains your property. By submitting it you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process that content for the sole purpose of returning the tool's result to you. We do not claim any ownership over your submitted data.

8. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time and without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that affect core tool functionality.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the Service.

10. Contact
